When the Online Bill Payment option was introduced, there was a flat convenience fee charge of $4.00 for each online payment.  That fee was later raised to $4.10.

(The convenience fee for paying a bill through our website is charged and collected by the payment processor.  UJCWA does not receive any of this fee.)

After researching other options for processing, an option was found that will lower the online convenience fee for the majority of our customers.  

Effective immediately, the payment fee will be the greater of $1.75 or 2.5%.  For example, a bill of $50.00 would now only pay a convenience fee of $1.25 instead of the previous $4.10.  All payments less than $164.00 will have fees less than $4.10.  Only payments $164.00 or greater will have a fee higher than $4.10.  

Please Note:  This fee change only applies to customers who pay their bills online through our webpage at www.ujcwa.com. 

The Auto Draft option through a checking account is still free.  (ACH)  Anyone who would like to sign up for this service can print out an ACH Authorization Agreement under All Forms & Reports, attach a voided check, sign and return to Upper Jasper County Water Authority at 269 County Road 080 in Jasper.  The ACH payments are processed on the closest business day to the 12th of each month.
